“Upon selling our home in Bedford , we decided to build our dream home. We had heard Brett Sheffer of Nickkels Contracting had a reliable name building unique homes tailored to his client’s specific designs. We visited a home Nickkels Contruction build and we were impressed with the quality of work, attention to detail, and unique open concept design.
We met with Mr. Sheffer at our home. He produced a priced quote and contract of our dream home that was agreeable to my wife and I. Upon reviewing our plans he was confident he could build our “dream home”. The house was 2800 square feet, with an open concept, and many unique details specific to each room. We met with Mr. Sheffer at our lot and discussed feasible locations where the house could be situated to where we, as clients, wanted it. Mr. Sheffer encouraged continual input especially relative to internal unique designs and details.
There was a continual exchange of ideas between us and Mr. Sheffer and his head carpenter, Bill. Bill is very creative and very easy to communicate and articulate with. Any changes were met with a positive and constructive approach. Mr. Sheffer would say “if that’s what you want, then let’s get it done.” Mr. Sheffer was shown detailed pictures from unique “home design” magazines, and the rooms in our dream home mirror those pictures. He tackled all situations with a calming enthusiasm. Mr. Sheffer’s wife, Karen, who dealt with the financial side, was very easy to deal with, in reference to any questions we had.
We are very pleased with our final product. Our “dream home” is very unique in design. The compliments we have received from people who have been to our home, have been glowing and impressive, and have made us very proud. ”
